It’s a great sporting weekend with the Wimbledon finals and some cracking racing at York and Newmarket. The main race at York is the John Smiths Cup and its worth noting that eight of the last ten winners started in double digit stalls and nine of the last ten winners had a rating between 91 and 105. Four year olds have a great record in the race and only one winner int the past decade had run more than four times that year. ARAB DAWN looks like he has had this race in his sights for some time and at 7/1 look a good bet. For each way punters VOICE OF A LEADER at 16/1 looks a worthy punt. Over at Newmarket it’s the Bunbury Cup and HEAVENS GUEST loves this course with two runs and two wins. He won this race last year and I think he will be in the mix again. Over at Wimbledon should Murray get through to the final I think he may take this. He last won Wimbledon when a Royal baby was born in 2013. The last British champion before that was Virginia Wade in 1977 same year a Royal baby was born…
