BEIJING (Alliance News) – China’s industrial profits logged a double-digit expansion in March, data from the National Bureau of Statistics showed Wednesday.
Industrial profits climbed 11.1% from a year ago to CNY 561.24 billion in March.
As a result, profits for the first quarter reached CNY 1.3 trillion, up 7.4% from same period of last year. This was faster than a 4.8% rise seen in January to February period.
NBS Official He Ping said industrial profits picked up in March partly reflecting the improvement in the economy. But it was not balanced and stable recovery.
