Halo Financial receives 2014 Re:locate Award for Financial Support and Innovation

Re:locate Magazine officially announced the winners of the highly anticipated annual Re:locate Awards.  Halo Financial, a specialist foreign exchange provider, received the award for Financial Support and Innovation. This category is new this year for the Re:locate Awards and recognises exceptional or innovative service in financial support to corporate clients as well as relocating employees and their families.

Gavin Herridge, founding director, Halo Financial commented, “To be announced as a winner in the Re:locate awards is great testament to the hard work and dedication of all the team at Halo Financial in ensuring that we go that extra mile in everything we do. We know that finance can be a complex and daunting topic for many, so we always aim to make the process of foreign exchange easy to understand. We always ensure that each client feels happy and comfortable with every transaction thanks to delivering a highly personal, tailored solution. We would like to thank the team at Re:locate for recognising these steps.”

The Re:locate Awards are globally viewed as the ultimate recognition in the rapidly expanding mobility industry. Nearly 200 industry leaders from across the globe gathered for the awards presentation at the Institute of Directors in London. A team of independent judges carefully scrutinised entries from around the world before choosing  winners across the twelve awards categories.

Speaking at the Awards ceremony, managing editor of Re:locate, Fiona Murchie commented, “As the mobility industry expands at breakneck speed, Re:locate remains focused on driving connections, identifying thought leaders and aggregating influencers to define and improve industry standards.  A sign of our success is the steady rise in the standard of our award entries and this year is certainly no exception. The judges were impressed with Halo’s entry, their track record of providing insights and flexibility to help clients work more efficiently and also their industry leadership established through regular articles and blogs.”

The Re:locate Award judges recognised Halo Financial for their aim and dedication to changing the impersonal nature of the foreign exchange market.  With a strong commitment to flexibility and personalised service, Halo’s bespoke solutions that suit their specific clients’ individual needs was unique within the market.  Within the bespoke solution provided, the team considers key factors including personal currency exposure, timeframe, appetite for risk, view of the market and cash flow.  The judges felt that Halo’s excellent service provision was highly relevant to the global mobility marketplace and the organisation was, ‘doing an important job in an important area, and doing it well.”
