Odds and sods from our IFA sporting pundit

A major day

Day one of the majors starts today and the sun is shining so we took the opportunity to pop out of the office for an hour to watch the first few holes being played.

There is something about the Masters, the colours on the TV screen, the green jacket and the anticipation when Arnold Palmer hit the first ball down the fairway.

It’s also hard to imagine that it’s been seventeen years since Tiger Woods became the youngest player to win the competition.

It took me seventeen years to get a birdie at my local course… Oh and we are still out watching the action – it’s also very addictive viewing. We have had a little wager on Leishman and Jamie Donaldson e/w at nice big prices and Graham McDowell to win out right.
