The Scottish way

What an end to a great sporting week . We were taken last minute (ok our hosts had two last minute drop outs) to Ayr in Scotland to watch the Scottish Grand National.

A long train journey up and plenty of a beer called McEwans, which I didn’t know still existed. The train journey was useful to review the form of the horses using Timeform and Midnight Appeal at 16/1 stands out in the big race tomorrow in the Scottish National.

Quite fancy Bless the Wings in 3.50 today at 4/1. Actually, I have done a patent on Eduard, Many Rivers to Cross and Midnight Appeal. Fingers crossed…
