BRUSSELS (Alliance News) – The pound pulled away from its early highs against its major rivals in Europe on Thursday.
The pound hit a 2-week low of 1.4912 against the greenback, from a high of 1.5008 hit at 4:30 am ET.
The pound pared gains to 182.58 against the yen, 1.4878 against the franc and 0.7273 against the euro, off its early high of 183.62, 2-day highs of 1.4932 and 0.7233, respectively.
On the downside, the pound may locate support around 180.00 against the yen, 1.46 against the franc, 1.48 against the greenback and 0.75 against the euro.
