LONDON (Alliance News) – Private Equity Investor PLC on Friday said its net asset value fell between March and September, as a result of weakness in the private equity market, fund revaluations and foreign exchange movements.
The company, which is not making investment in new private equity funds, is managing its existing investments and returning capital to shareholders.
Net asset value was 211.5p per share on September 30, a fall of 11.4% from the 238.7p on March 31.
Meanwhile the NAV per share in dollars, the currency in which the company’s investments are denominated, was 320.3 cents on September 31, a 9.6% fall against the 354.4 cents recorded on March 31.
Shares in Private Equity Investor were untraded at 182.00p on Friday.
